I'm excited for Sword Coast Legends but don't know if I'm going to pay for the Belaphoss statue even though it's super cool

This is the Belaphoss statue you get when you pre-order one of the
many Sword Coast Legends packages.
In less than two weeks, the video game Sword Coast Legends gets released. This is one I plan on getting opening day. It's been years since there's been a solid entry by Dungeons & Dragons for desktop (and other platform) machines. Check out the trailer below if you are a fan of fantasy-based rpg's. Right now they've got a few pre-order packages. I'm trying to justify the $200.00 package to get both the beholder mini and the Belaphoss statue. It probably won't happen though because I just bought a new laptop.

  1. The statue looks even better in-person. :)

  2. I don't think that figurine would go well with my decor.

  3. Very cool. Never played a game of D&D in my life (please don't shun me). :)

  4. The trailer kicks ass. Do what you love Mike. I am an big fan of books myself. Received four in the mail today and bought at least seven this month alone.

  5. Cool. I would love to play D&D. Never have though. I need to find nerdier friends.

  6. I was bored this weekend and started my fifth(?) playthrough of Baldur's Gate. It's amazing how far graphics have come since its release but I love the genre. I will probably pick this game up as well since it looks like a mix of BG and Neverwinter Nights (which I also loved).

    1. Kev, shoot me an email so I have your email address. When the game releases, we could play it together.

  8. We all have our guilty pleasures. If you really want the figure, buy it. On the one hand, these figure collections remind me of the guys on The Big Bang Theory. On the other hand, some of those vintage collections are now worth a lot of money.

  9. I'm not a gamer, but I love the music and other products that get sold based on the games. So cool. A new lap top is more important though. Hopefully its better than the one you had.

    Have a good weekend Mike.
