Have you heard of "Kerry"? He runs a website that has videos featuring feminine rubber masks. This particular fetish isn't dangerous per se. So why am I featuring it here?
Perhaps the reason I highlight it is because of the imagery it conjures ala "Buffalo Bill" from Silence of the Lambs or the creepy, expressionless mask worn by the serial killer in Halloween (Michael Meyers?) I guess I consider this extreme, because most people I know would not be "turned on" if someone were to don a rubber mask to "get it on." In fact, most people I know would immediately leave.
So yeah, I think this one is really weird. And you have to admit...the whole "latex mask" thing definitely fits with Halloween which is at the crux of my countdown.
Oh man that is way creepy. Yeah, I would be out the door in a flash. LOL.
ReplyDeleteNow that would send me running in the opposite direction. But, as I always say, each to their own. What one person loves another loathes and vice versa.
ReplyDeleteI'd be put off by the rubber smell too. Reminds me of school gyms.

Creepy with a capital CREEP. I'm with Ellie; I'd be running in the opposite direction and I make it a point to never run. Almost never run.
ReplyDeleteYou're working your way up to plushies and furries, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteRubber masks would be a reminder of things NOT on the up-and-up.
ReplyDeleteOooh yes, I don't like that. Very creepy.
ReplyDeleteI thought this one wouldn't ick me out based on the title - I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt'd probably be hard to do oral with the rubber mask on.
ReplyDeleteBecause there are not enough things that creep me out on this sunny Tuesday morning, I had to go back and read ALL of your Halloween Fetish posts. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Where do you come up with this stuff, and you look like such a nice boy. Ha!
ReplyDeleteDid not know that was a thing.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking how horribly sweaty and sticky it must be underneath. Rubber does not breathe very well. I prefer masquerade masks, those can be fun.
ReplyDeleteI've seen so much about latex fetishes that this doesn't surprise me at all
ReplyDeleteIt takes ALL kinds.
ReplyDeleteThe human psyche is truly unexplainable ... anything and everything can "turn" a human "on."
Frankly, MANY should be on the "OFF" button. EEEEW!
Well, you know, as soon as they have life like robots...
ReplyDeleteThe human brain is capable of such incredible leaps of glory, and also such depravity. It's hard to believe people are into this sort of stuff, but then I live a very sheltered life.
ReplyDeleteCreepy. I envision some sort of sexual asphyxiation thing with the mask you pictured.
ReplyDelete"I got a mask at home, boots, and some leather gear." - Dr. Octagon.
ReplyDeleteMake it a Zoro mask and I might be interested. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThat would be too scary to be exciting. They really don't make attractive rubber masks.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of this one. Makes me wonder what's coming next. :)
ReplyDeleteMasks can be creepy. Did you know Michael Meyers mask in Halloween was actually one of William Shatner painted? Yes, I know useless Halloween trivia. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Michael,
ReplyDeleteInteresting and that mask really suits you.
This particular fetish doesn't creep me out as much as cause me to tilt my head. I am tempted to think that no one has weird fetishes like this (or the others you mentioned in previous posts) except that I knew someone who worked the emergency room and he said that a person came in with the results of a particular fetish that involved tubing and a mouse. That's all I'm gonna say. And I would not swear by this but I am pretty sure that people who have fetishes like this (or the mouse thing) would never admit to having it and would be pretty darn sure the person they are having sex with wouldn't run screaming out of the room. So I am not sure that having your family/friends/co-workers/acquaintances/fellow bloggers tell you this is weird actually means anything other than they wouldn't admit to it unless they were being subjected to water torture- which is, most likely, also a fetish (except me! Then it totally means I think this is weird). Cheers!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's an odd one for sure. Though like you said, on the whole it's not dangerous, so to each his own :) Still, it makes you rethink why horror movie villains wear masks ....

Wow what perfect description you make Michael. Michael, this is oceangirl.
ReplyDeleteThat is creepy. I think it is more frightening than some of the horror masks. Of course, I'm the one who is scared of balloons, so what do I know. Yeah, don't ask.
ReplyDeleteIt does make me think of Michael Myers. Did you know the mask in the original flick was a painted Captain Kirk mask with the hair combed out.
ReplyDeleteIf someone wore this mas around me, I'd definitely run in the opposite direction.
Yeah, that picture gives me the creeps, but at least it's not as gross as some of the ones you've featured.
