I'd feel small as well!
He should have had a picture taken where he has his arms up so it'd look like he were holding up the planet like Atlas. That would have been sweet.
i read an essay about how astronauts have like major epiphanies when they actually see the earth from space.
I feel small at every moment, I think. Perspective is altogether the most terrifying and liberating thing a person can have. :-)Have a great weekend buddy. :-)
Very cool. Thanks for sharing. :)
You, too, Michael.
I wish everyone could see the earth from space and recognize how small and vulnerable we are. And that we're all in this together. << hopefully that's not too cheesy. :)
Amazing! Neil and crew certainly changed our outlook on the universe and how we see our planet.
Rest in peace, Neil Armstrong.
Nice, tribute...Have a great weekend Michael
Very nice. Thanks.
Nature has a way of making me feel small. I can only imagine if I stood on another world. I'd love to.
Great little history lesson! I always feel small when I look at the stars. Or from a mountain top. Or at the ocean. I think it's very good for us to feel small.
Oh, very cool. Thanks for the quote :)
Sounds like a humbling and sobering moment for him. Smart man.
Perspective. We should use it more.Back at you with the weekend wishes!
I think I would have felt frightened also at that feeling of smallness. Small and unimportant in the scheme of the universe.
Love this. It really makes you think of how small and insignificant in the universe we are.
I remember running outside and looking at the moon after they landed. It was an amazing night.
What a surreal feeling that would be.
How can anyone not want to be an astronaut?
You have a great weekend too Michael.Your pics reminded me of Sesame St.
I feel small next to an SUV - seeing the earth from the surface of the moon would probably also have an effect on my psyche. Have a good weekend
I figure that would be the feeling
That's an amazing set of images/quotes. Imagine being in space like that . . . wow.
That's kind of humbling, I like it :)
Another great quote from one of our nation's heroes. RIP, Mr. Armstrong.
Wow, what a beautiful quote! :)
Its all about perspective :)........dhole
It would be humbling.
My mind still boggles at the mere concept of this. I want to experience such a moment!
