I think it's just perfect. The people that read my ARC should agree with me. The green color is symbolic of Life Green, the glass spider is a symbol of just about everything taking place in my book, and the technology in the background is both a symbol of the A.I. and the differences between the two worlds.
If you want to mark it "To Read" it's on Goodreads, follow this LINK or click the cool button.
It is available for purchase as a downloadable ebook on my publisher's website HERE.
It's on sale for $5.09.
Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other sites will be coming soon :)

@Alex: LOL I was getting so impatient.
@nutschell: Thank you nutty.
@P.T. Thank you grumpy.
@Raelynn: :) Thanks for the tweet to my other post btw. You are so supportive and I appreciate you.
@Munir: The spider has a lot to do with the book. But it isn't what the book is about. More, it's a realization that something incredible and unexplainable is happening and that the fate of everyone depends on sorting it out.
@Phil: hahaha. I wish I woulda thought of that!
@Brinda: Thank you.
@Cristina: Thank you :))
@Tomeka: Thank you Tomeka. We shall be skyping soon. I'm sharing this "SQUEEEEEEE" with you.
@Dalya: I love green. It's so important to the book.
@Sarah: Deron did an astounding job.
@Stephen: That would be great, but I'm a small time writer. For today though, I feel kinda special and that's all that counts. It put a pep in my step for sure as I was slumping at work.
@Emily: I know, right? The water droplets are really well done.
@Elise: You just made me smile. :) Thanks for saying that.
@Sandra: Yes. It will be available very soon...in a matter of days. I'll post links when I get them.
@Christina: I love the green. I think that's the best part. But the spider is so detailed. It looks great as a thumbnail too.
@Brent: Thank you sir! I cannot wait to see your book when you get it published :)
@Julie: Hehe...the spider is creepy. I was inspired by all the black widows around work.
@Charity: Thank you so much, Charity. And it's very cool.
@Moody: I agree.
@Cheryl: ((hugs)) back
@L.G.: OMG...you're doing the A to Z on vacation? It's supposed to be a vacation lady!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the cover. It's perfect for SLIPSTREAM!
ReplyDeleteOoooo, I wish the cover were this big on my sidebar. Very cool! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteJust...
Wow.
With a dollop of HOLY MACKEREL.
That is GREAT.
With a cover like that, I'm expecting a book that will make my eyes so excited to read it, my mind so thrilled to imagine it, that other books will seem as though they are the crumbled, faded leaves of last fall when compared to the glorious spring that is your book.
I've no doubt you will deliver that.
Congratulations, Michael, on achieving this. I can only imagine with jealousy how great it must feel for you. And, I can only say again: BRING THIS BOOK OUT SO WE CAN READ IT.
exceedingly cool :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the colour green too, but that was to be expected of moi :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a snazzy cover - and makes me want to read the book even more! Super cool!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely love it. Really cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd you were worried, tisk, tisk, tisk.
ReplyDeleteI'm four days behind on blog posts. Four. Yet, when I saw that you were revealing your cover in my blog roll's very top post I rushed over and OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!
ReplyDeleteIt's like, one of those covers I could stare at forever and still not see everything (like I've been looking at it this whole time and just noticed the little clover thing in the background mechanics). And I love those. Plus, the spider is so rainbow and pretty. 0-0 It should be made into a T-shirt.
What a cool cover! Major congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteHad to come out of my hiatus hole to tell you, WOW! That's a book cover! Congratulations again, sir. Looking forward to reading it. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat cover - love it. Of course, green is my favorite color. Marked - To Read ~ check.
ReplyDeletegrats, mike... it's a super cover!
ReplyDeletei have one niggle... if it's meant to be on another planet, perhaps the thing should not have 8 legs... rather 6, 10, or...?
i know... i'm a bastard that way :P)
Wow - great cover! I really love it. The color is perfect, and the effect of the glass body on the spider - fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYou have every right to be thrilled. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteIt's a really, really awesome cover.
ReplyDeleteThis is AMAZING! Congrats Michael!
ReplyDeleteDude; that is so awesome. I love it. And yes, it does fit the plot concept.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Mike. This has to be almost as good as getting the novel accepted in the first place.
........dhole
Fantastic, Michael! Congratulations. The cover makes your book look very exciting. The way the spider has something in its tummy is so cool. I'm really happy for you. I'll be buying Thursday (payday).
ReplyDeleteCongrats, that looks like something right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteLove the banner and Wow...it's for sale already. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteOh my God look at this it's awesome!
ReplyDeleteI was going to get the ebook but now I want a paperback. Not sure I'll be able to get it in England though :-(
That's a great looking cover. The spider's really cool.
ReplyDeleteIt's on my list to read, but I'm SO behind right now :(
It's better than perfect. It's stunning. I knew it would be great. Congrats, Michael. You deserve all the awesomeness coming your way!
ReplyDeletewait wait wait. I can buy your book already?!?!
ReplyDeleteI am ALL OVER that!
Came back to show my sis your cover (which she says it's very cool and eyecatching, btw)
Very cool cover! Coming to Kindle soon, I presume?
ReplyDelete@Roland: I agree. I'm using a word Michelle Davidson Argyle said to me last night on twitter--it's "vibrant".
ReplyDelete@Cherie: I thought so too :)
@Theresa: I think it looks great as a thumbnail.
@Briane: Thank you sir! You always leave the most thoughtful comments.
@mshatch: Thank you.
@Dezmond: I like all the green. It's perfect for what's happening in the book as green is a metaphor for life currency.
@Lara: Thanks
@Tonja: I've been squeeing about it all day.
@Cindy: If a writer didn't "worry" we would probably not be writers.
@Brooke: *HUGS TO BROOKE. You made me so happy with your comment!
@Karen: Thank you
@Jess: Thank you :)
@DPK: Nice to see you come out of your hiding/writing hole. BTW I think that In-N-Out sounds totally doable in June for pre-Prometheus.
@Faraway: Thank you for marking it to read :)
@laughingwolf: Nah. Avalon and Earth are parallel worlds. They have the same things on them. Only Avalan has been destroyed by an apocalyptic event. But the spiders there all have eight legs.
@Ishta: I am thrilled!
@Ciara: I'm really stunned by how amazing it turned out.
@Leigh: Thank you miss.
@Libby: My coworkers were all saying that too. lol. Great minds think alike.
@Chantele: Thank you Chantele.
@Randy: Your support is much appreciated.
@Miho Li: Me too.
@Rachael: Googling the price of crystal spiders now...maybe I can do a giveaway.
@Danette: Yep :)
@Jay: Thank you
@Clarissa: I agree.
@T.D.: Thank you
@Donna: Thank you. It is just as thrilling. Kinda made me think I'm a published author now.
@Belle: Awe. You are wonderful. This week it is only available on my publisher's website but all the others should be up by May. Then probably paper in June or July. I guess they go in stages.
@Youngman: Oooh...a reader :)
@Neil: Thank you sir
@Cindy: Thank you miss. But only on the publisher's website. Other sites will slowly go live.
@Sarah: It's Print on Demand and that won't be set up until like June I think.
@Andrew: I'm behind too. So many books...so little time. There's a million or so books published each year I think and only like ten people who read. True story.
@Mina: Thank you Mina
@Falen: lol Thank you miss. I bought a copy for myself just to see how the formatting looked and to walk through the process of doing it on my publisher's website. It's easy...just got to set up an account. It'll be good for people to do anyway for my blog tour cause I'll have $10 gift certificates to give away at each blog stop (to my publisher's website...not Amazon).
@Milo: Yeah it'll be up on Amazon in the next week I think. I was talking with Michelle Davidson Argyle...another author who really knows what she's talking about. She says it takes a while for Amazon to upload the file.
ReplyDeleteThis is phenomenal! I love it! I'm so happy that you lucked out with an amazing cover that is eye-catching, vibrant, and stunning. So excited for you!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous, eye-catching cover! And of course I'm gonna buy it and read it. Hope your publisher can get you a poster size of that cover because it's good enough to hang as art in your home.
ReplyDeleteAmazing cover! I agree with Helena...it is worth hanging on the wall!
ReplyDeleteOh, your cover is gorgeous! I love that spider--very creepy and beautiful at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge sci-fi fan, but that's a great cover. I'm trying to visit all the A-Z Challenge Blogs during April
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That's a really cool cover; I love the reflective and slightly creepy look of the spider.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I came back to see if you had replied to my comment (btw, HUGS BACK) and Bam! There is the spider.
