So true. The Muggles stalk me, whispering their no-good messages at me, trying to make me give up. Be gone with you, cursed Muggles and your dim spark of life!
I have a feeling she's been feeling down if she cares about reviews. Her last book was boring. Did you read it? yawn... I started it, couldn't get anywhere and most of the people I've talked to at the library said the same.
Of course that leads one to ask *why* you rummaged through a trashcan in the first place :)
ReplyDeleteThere's gotta be a great flash fiction story there :)
This is great advice!
ReplyDeleteYeah, why DID you rummage through the trashcan? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree, great advice!
Aren't we the muggles? I get myself down all the time.

Good old J.K.
ReplyDeleteHmm...I guess good advice can be found in a trash can. :)
ReplyDeleteBut did you find the portal to Middle-Earth?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what "muggles" are. Maybe that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteIf I saw this laying in the trash can, I'd have to take a quick shot with my phone camera as well.
ReplyDeleteSo you're rooting through garbage cans now?
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure to find. I love it!!
ReplyDelete@Moody: Of course we are not the muggles. As writers we are the source of magic. Sigh. This post really loses its punch when you have to explain it.
ReplyDeleteI love the term muggle, makes us feel special
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like it should be a song.
ReplyDeleteSo true! And why would anyone throw that away?
ReplyDeleteMostly, I try to ignore the muggles.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I had a great laugh at this.

why is you looking stuff up in trash bins, Mikey? :PPP
ReplyDeleteMy parents were muggles, but I"M a wizard!
ReplyDeleteHa ha.
ReplyDeleteThough... Where in the bathroom did you find it? :O
Are you stalking her? :D Be gone Muggles!! I'm using my chocolate as a wand.
ReplyDeleteI feel like grabbing my $30 wand from Harry Potter world off my desk and waving it around. That place sucks the money right out of you. . . ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd muggles sure can get you down if you let 'em.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the begining of an amazing short story :)

ReplyDeleteJ.K. Rowling knows Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar. Penny suggested some 'pawblishing' tips and look at J.K. now!
ReplyDeleteBe well, Michael.
Penny's human,
Gary
