Game of Thrones returns July 16th. Until then, you should check out this three minute mashup trailer that shows just how far we've come in cinematic quality of a television series. I'm so excited. Did I mention that the finale is going to be 81 minutes long? Wow.
Going to be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAnd those of us without HBO will be patiently waiting for the finale so we can get HBO for one month and binge watch the whole season.
Sucks there are fewer episodes though.
ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones news is everywhere. Fans love the show.
ReplyDeleteOh, is it that time of year already?
ReplyDeleteI'm FINALLY finishing my catch-up on GOT. Four more episodes of season 6 and I'll be ready for the new batch. I'd have caught up sooner but I learned never to watch the show before bed (WAY too violent), so I only catch it in the afternoon on the weekends.
ReplyDeleteI'm halfway through season 5 in a rewatch and it amazes me after all this time I'm learning things I missed on my first and second viewings. The amount of detail and callbacks hidden in every episode are truly astounding. Watching everything at once magnifies the showrunners' struggle in season 5 to abridge books 4 and 5 into a coherent story but I'm not sure they had much wiggle room given budget and time constraints. The great part is by the end of season 6 they got all the pieces in place for a great finishing run. I can't wait!
