I usually try not to celebrate someone dying, but bin Laden is a definite exception to that. And how much fun that a Democrat gets to put on his resume that he killed the deadliest terrorist in the world. So much for Republicans being the badass party.
I never feel like celebrating when someone dies. We're celebrating killing him because he killed a lot of other people, and all that killing makes me feel uncomfortable.
Meh. The dude was a bastard. I've no problem in celebrating that he's dead and hope that someone pissed on him before he got dropped in the ocean. He was a mass murderer with no redeemable qualities whatsoever. I think it was a mistake that they flushed him into the ocean. Obama should have carried his corpse into the first presidential debate, put his foot on the terrorist leader's back, and said "debate over. I win."
So glad that bin Laden is dead and gone. Maybe now, all the survivors and families who lost loved ones in bin Laden's many attacks around the world can find some small measure of peace and closure.
Horrible as it sounds I'll be relieved when the news goes back to complaining about some sports team losing or a puppy getting adopted. All this death and over kill in general with the media has me reaching burnout hearing about any story more than once.
I had an argument with someone this morning because they felt his speech was taking credit for something George Bush and the soldiers actually accomplished. I mean really? I give the Seals credit as it sounds like they performed as expected but you have to give Obama a little credit. No doubt he would have been ripped apart by the press if this failed.
As much as it feel odd to celebrate someone's death I am thankful that we don't have to face a media circus trial. That would have been a focal point for all the nutjobs in the world on which to converge.
Kevin: Racists and partisan hacks are upset that Obama did what George should have done 8 years ago. But no, he decided to invade Iraq to sweeten his own pocket. Obama and the media have told the story. The facts are laid bare. Obama received very good intelligence that the enemy was located in Pakistan. He analyzed it and made a decision. It was his order that called for the SEAL strike. There was no Bush in it unless you're talking the one the soldiers stepped on near the door of the compound.
Very excited Obama took out Bin Laden. Of course, I'm waiting for the tea party to claim he isn't really dead becasue they never saw the body or some such nonsense.
I love the clip of Obama making Trump look like the chump he is.
America, fuck yeah!!!
