Rick Grimes says Come With Me and Walk the Longest Mile

In this painting by MiseryCannotBeDead Rick Grimes is saying "Come with me and walk the longest mile." It gives me chills, but huzzah, The Walking Dead is back! After last night's episode, something tells me the survivors are in for their worst year yet. Life is hard. In the apocalypse, life appears to be impossible. A reminder to you that the season 4 webisodes are online, and I have to say they are creeptacular.
The Colt Python totally makes this picture.

  3. I still haven't bit the bullet and watched this series yet. I'm not a big horror fan, but I'm really excited about the new Carrie movie! Does that count? :-P

  4. It's that "creeptacular" element that prevented me from watching past the first season of The Walking Dead. I liked parts of the show, but I couldn't take the gory head bashings. But enjoy the new season. I do love when a show I like is back on with new episodes!

  7. It was a great splatterfest start to the season! The scene in the store with the zombies falling through the ceiling was intense, "creeptacular," and so well shot. I saw World War Z over the weekend and it really gave me a frame of reference for how gory The Walking Dead really is. I wonder how long they are going to be able to hold the prison? I have to check out the webisodes.

  11. PS Michael, it shocks me :) that you have missed naked, barecheasted and very much muscly and blond Kellan Lutz in my Sunday post on HERCULES THE LEGEND BEGINS :)

  12. Haven't started on this series yet, but then I've even missed most of Sleepy Hollow and I really liked the pilot! So I'm grateful for on-demand on my TV.

  14. I haven't seen this show, and probably won't. Both my husband and I are so fed up with the violence in the world that we just won't watch violent programs on TV -- we won't send energy to anything that promotes violence as entertainment. When are we going to learn how much the violence is impacting fragile young minds. Will get off my soap box.

  15. @Patricia: I appreciate your soap box. You can come here anytime. You make me think about things that otherwise, I might not consider. I think you are right.

  16. Dez's comments made me laugh! I don't see it when it first comes out, so I've just started watching last season.

  20. @Michael -- checked back because I was afraid I overstepped my boundaries. I have some years on many of your followers, so my views may be different.

  21. @Patricia: No worries. People are welcome to say whatever they like on my blog. I respect the fact that you have an opinion. Some people these days are so apathetic that they just don't care. Have a great day.
