If it weighs you down, you shouldn't.

When I do my farmers market or a craft show, I get someone who looks at my booth, laughs, and says something along the lines of "you've been busy". Like, they can't comprehend how someone would take the time to make something with her own two hands. That tells me so much about them.

Find your joy. If you want a wall full of hard cover, beautifully illustrated books, get them. Enjoy them. And don't worry about what the rest of the world is missing out on. I love my full bookcases but hate that I can't carry them with me all the time. The worst part is when you decide to move and need to carry all that weight (my brother has refused to ever help me move ever again because of my books). While I'd keep a few, in hindsight really wish I could sell most of them and replace them with e-books instead.

You do lose something with an ebook but I love the portability. I do hope they start making readers the size of a hardcover book and the upcoming ACeP Color E-Ink readers are as good as advertised. It might help bridge the gap.Kevin Longhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01092721842140433268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2495499100279472520.post-7423626988043705802017-12-08T07:33:31.186-07:002017-12-08T07:33:31.186-07:00Slowing down would be nice but I don't see it ...Slowing down would be nice but I don't see it happening any time soon. I used to worry about stuff like books on the Shelf and then realized no one ever comes over so whatever. Though I do keep some of my most favorite books in a physical copy just in case something happens to the Kindle. Once net neutrality is gone and it costs an extra $20 to buy enooks that will probably be a good thing. PT Dillowayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09394481476862013009noreply@blogger.com
