Will the Walking Dead Season Three webisodes reveal Sophia's ghastly death?

Fight the dead, fear the living on October 14th!
Last year at about this time, AMC put up some webisodes to usher in Season 2 of "The Walking Dead." The six part mini episodes done in the flavor of the six webisodes AMC did for "Breaking Bad" (if you haven't seen them, watch them because Twaught Hammer is hilarious) revealed the origin story of "Bicycle Girl."

So i started thinking, what could they do for webisodes this time around? Will there be a six mini-episode that has an answer for this burning question:
My vote is to explore what happened with Sophia in season two. Show us how she became a zombie and follow that through to when Otis captured her and stuck her in the barn with all the other zombies. As a caveat, I kinda/sorta know what happened, but I just want to see it for myself. Especially since this DIDN'T happen in the comic books, and it was a huge and very sad reveal last year.
The Walking Dead season 3 episodes (whatever they may be) are slated to debut on October 1st. And then, we get the return of The Walking Dead on October 14th. For your viewing pleasure, I give you "Twaught Hammer." If you are fans of Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) you'll love this.

Have a great Tuesday. Tomorrow, I'm participating in The Big Smoke cover reveal!

  1. I'm so far behind Walking Dead: I've still to see any of season 2 (though I watched the bicycle girl webisodes, those were good(

  4. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON THREE!!! I love this show. I never thought I'd be into a show about zombies, but Walking Dead is fantastic. SO much tension, conflict etc...Every time I think they can't up the stakes anymore, things get worse. This is one of my favorite shows.

Along with Dexter and Spartacus, which--in my opinion--are both also awesome examples of never letting the tension ebb for even a second.

    Great post!

  5. I am looking forward to season 3. I forget the guys name that lost the hand when he sawed it off to escape from the handcuffs, but I saw him returning from jump.

I am still miffed about Shane being killed because he provided a lot of the conflict in the series.

I am glad I never read the comics, they'd spoil it for me.

  6. I think I stopped watching toward the end of season one. Too many shows and life just got busy. And now there's Sunday night football.

  7. This all sounds so exciting. I barely watch much TV now that I'm here in Mexico *sigh*

  8. My 19-month-old niece has watched more of "The Walking Dead" than I have. Zombie movies are OK but it just seems like 13 hours a year for however many years would be too much of the same thing. Humans hide out, bicker, zombies show up, humans fight them, escape, blah blah blah.

  9. I don't know how i feel about Walking Dead anymore. I just have so so many issues with it, but when it's good, it's superb. Sigh.

  15. I just bought my husband the season 2 dvds for his birthday. It's not a show I can watch. I'll wait for the gore of Spartacus. :)

  16. Breaking Bad has webisodes? Must tell my father about this. He loves that show (tried to get me into it, but meh), and he would not know to look for such a thing.

  19. Still haven't caught this show. But then I love Grimm and even it can be too violent/gross out for me. So zombies on the prowl? But you never know -- maybe I'll fall in love with it.

  21. I am looking forward to the new season although I am a little afraid of the woman with the chained zombies... is it going to be too comic bookish? Dunno, I guess we'll have to see.
