Do You Judge A Book By Its Cover?

If you answered yes to the above question, I invite you to play a little game with me :).

Let me know how well you did in a comment.  For those of you that failed badly, I guess what's on the outside doesn't tell you at all what's on the inside now does it?

  1. And now I am somewhat jealous that a guy looks better in a dress than me, lol!

  2. Oh, wow. Interesting. I was going to go with all the ones on the left. Definitely a great way to think about the cover. You can never really tell can ya.

  3. Damn that's scary. Remind me not to go to Thailand anytime soon.

  4. WOW! It was hard for me to pick, they all looked female.

  5. I should have known - I was thinking in a couple of cases that both could be trannies. These ladyboys are amazing! Little misses top left and third down on the right still look like physiologically convincing women to me.

  6. I think they all look beautiful. Despite Thailand's reputation, I think that their open acceptance of people and sexuality is admirable. I hope that the West can someday become as open-minded.

  7. They are beautiful women...ahh...men. I never would have guessed. Ms. LadyBoy is an interesting title.

  8. OMG thanks for telling us cause there were only 3 that I was sure 100% they were girls - LOL
I was having a terrible time! Too many had boy lines under all the pretty! Three of them fooled me even after I had the answer....hehehe
Would that be like missing something because you choose to believe a lie?

  9. I agree with you 100%, Michael. We have a long way to go, but I hope we get there soon. On a rocket ship.

  10. How bizarre! But I get your point. I get a sense of the genre from a book's cover, but I always read the first few lines, never the jacket copy. That's what my mother taught me and she was right.

  11. I thought all the ones on the left, at first.

I try not to judge a book by its cover--if something doesn't appeal to me at first sight and I've got time to stop and read the flap/back cover I'll do it.

  12. Wow! That had me fooled. I was so certain my guesses were 100%...but then again....the were! Because they were guys. haha

Interesting. What beautiful looking women they make. :-)

  13. hahaha - nice one Michael. Yes I was totally fooled. I could just about convince myself that about half of them were men, but the rest I still cannot convince myself, even knowing! I am convinced that sex and gender are two entirely separate things. I strongly suspect that a person's maleness or femaleness is governed by more genes than just those on the X or Y chromosome. As for books - I judge by the cover. Sorry.

  15. Wow! And they are gorgeous! I'm with Kerri - there's nothing like seeing a boy look more beautiful and feminine in a dress than me to make me jealous!

I think we all judge books by the covers, don't we? It's the visual we notice first. And, despite knowing what I know, I think they are beautiful ladies, because that's how they have chosen to present. If we were all a little less hung up on what consenting adults chose to do, the world would be a nicer place.

  18. You fooled me with this. I'm jealous now they all look better than I do in a dress.

  19. I could have swore a few were girls. I am not a good judge. You can probably put anything past me. Not good. Don't tell anyone. Shhh!
